Early Movers was created in 2019 when, after attending many baby and toddler classes with my own two daughters, I realised that my love and passion for Dance and Movement was something I wanted to share with other families, and I wanted them to be able to access good quality Dance classes with a focus on enjoying special time with their little one whilst also learning something new. After spending over 15 years building my own qualifications and experience in teaching a variety of Dance styles, I began to further my knowledge of Baby and Early Years movement in particular. This developed further into creating a trademarked programme for the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD) that could be taught by existing Dance teachers and examiners within their own schools. I feel very privileged to have met many Dance Teachers and Examiners up and down the UK whilst delivering the Early Movers Programme online during lockdown.

Our classes are split into 3 groups:

Tiny Toes - suitable for babies from 6 weeks to 9 months

Little Wrigglers - suitable for babies from 9-18 months

Mini Movers - suitable for little ones from 18 months-preschool age

Age ranges are flexible to allow for the varying ranges of development that little ones go through - babies and children are placed in the class that most suits their physical and emotional development.

The classes are all designed to enable parents and carers to relive their childhood, and release their inner child as they join in and engage in fun, playful activities with little ones. Each class has a weekly theme with all exercises, props and activities related to immerse little ones in a fantastic learning experience.
